Bodhi Rader was born in Lower Saxony, Germany, to Ilse Rader, a retired clinical psychiatrist from the VA Medical Center Hospital in Detroit, and Abbey Rader, a popular drummer raised in the Bronx, New York. Bodhi was raised in a blend of German and American cultures. His family’s relocation to Florida during his youth introduced him to a diverse environment, shaping his worldview. He is fluent in both German and English, and this multicultural upbringing laid the foundation for his versatile career. He earned a Bachelor of Science summa cum laude from the University of Florida. His passion for sustainable development led him to pursue a Master’s in Sustainable Development Engineering at the University of Cambridge, where he focused on renewable energy and environmental engineering.

Bodhi is married to Clare, an artist and performer. Together, they co-founded Mother Son Productions, a company dedicated to creating impactful content. Their collaborative projects include music videos, legacy documentaries, and live art performances. One popular project is Essence of Everything. It is a multimedia live art performance where Clare paints the set and costume, recites random scripts, and plays bamboo flute inspired by the four seasons, while Bodhi handles live video editing and projection.
